I tried it for the first time last week. I was reliably informed that my journey would cost me £6.60. When the driver picked me up he told me that the meter did not work but I was not to worry as the fare would be what Karhoo had said it would be. After taking my journey I got an email saying I was charged £10.40 for the trip which was a 40% jump on what I was quoted. I did write to Karhoo to inform them of my situation 5 days ago and I have heard nothing. AVOID, unless you want to be conned.
